A leisurely walking pace gets you to either the Whalebone Arch on the West Cliff, or to the eastern end of the swing bridge in town in about 15 minutes. There is private easy parking for 2 cars adjacent to the front door of the property (though we only had one). All routes out of Whitby are very easy without needing to negotiate the town traffic which can be busy at times.
