A beautifully-renovated Cornish cottage in the heart of the harbour town of Porthleven and close to the pretty harbour and local restaurants.

Delight in a stay at this character cottage with modern touches when you visit Porthleven. Sleeping three guests, the two-bedroom holiday home has a unique interiors that marries original features with contemporary comfort. Offering dog-friendly accommodation, it is ideal for exploring the Cornish town, swimming or surfing and heading out on coastal walks.

Take four steps up to step into this inviting abode. At ground-floor level there is a lounge, where you can unwind in front of the Smart TV. Follow the wooden staircase down to the lower ground-floor level to find the kitchen/diner. Here you can prepare meals with the fresh seafood and fish you have bought in town and then dine together at the table. Open the back door in here on fine days to bring in a sea breeze. There is also a family shower room at this level. Make your way up to the first floor of the cottage when you are ready to retire for the night. Here there is a king-size bedroom, with a beamed and vaulted ceiling, and a single room. Open the back door to step out into the courtyard, where you will find an area for rinsing off wellies and dogs and an outbuilding with a handy washer/dryer. Parking for this cottage is on the street, subject to availability.

Stroll 0.5 miles down to the seafront to spend time on the sandy beach at Porthleven. Head 350 metres to the harbour to try your hand at water sports, including kayaking and paddle boarding. Walk 1.5 miles from the cottage, partly along the South West Coast Path, to the freshwater lake at Loe Bar. Have a day out to Marazion, 8.5 miles away, where you can spend time on the beach and walk over to the tidal island of St Michael’s Mount.

      The property was perfect for our little break away in Cornwall. Less than 5 minute walk to porthleven harbour, good local walks to Paar sands and looe bar. Porthleven itself it beautiful great pubs and places to eat. Great local shops with everything you need. 10/10
