family consisted of 8 adults and a dog and we had a fabulous stay.","body":"We knew the house was going to be lovely but it was even more impressive in real life. The master bedroom, dressing area, ensuite and terrace were all amazing with so much space. Given the top quality furnishings throughout - the sun-loungers on the private terrace could do with upgrading. \r\nThe kitchen/family room was again very spacious and great for relaxing with the dog. It was really well stocked with mountains of plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery etc and huge pans suitable for cooking for 8 adults. A couple more easy chairs would have been nice as this is where we tended to gather to play our games etc (as we had a dog). Although we didn't use it much, the pet free lounge was very inviting. The utility room, wet room and dog room with stable door were fab. This house is immaculate and the best dog friendly accommodation we have ever stayed in with no 'doggy' smells. \r\nThe outside area was lovely with great views and the hot tub was a huge hit with all the family. Lots of comfortable garden seating and sturdy picnic table but a bit snug for 8 adults. With having a young energetic dog, we felt that the perimeter fence could have been more secure - but we understand that with the size of the garden this is a large job. \r\nWe were surprised to see that Prysken had been rented out despite the website saying that it wouldn't - our dog escaped twice as Prysken had left both their outside gates open. \r\nThe house is ideally situated to visit Padstow, Trevone, Harlyn and Constantine beaches and we made use of the bodyboards, surfboards and wetsuits provided.\r\nWe would definitely recommend the house and the surrounding area for a fabulous holiday.","author":"Marion","date":"2022-08-01","property_id":372592,"created_at":"2023-05-30T15:01:26.741Z","updated_at":"2023-05-30T15:01:26.741Z","rating":null,"rating_out_of":null,"date_of_stay":null,"sentiment":null,"rateable":false},{"id":8405334,"title":null,"body":"This was our second time at this property and that reflects the fact that we really can’t imagine anywhere better for a multi-generation family holiday. The large, open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area is ideal for keeping an eye on the children whilst preparing meals or just sitting down together to eat or play games. It makes a great dance floor too!\r\nThe layout of the bedrooms is also very good and enables different families or different generations to have their own private space with a good degree of separation in what are effectively different ‘wings’ of the property. The gardens are very extensive and ideal for games of hide and seek, football or frisbee. But perhaps best of all are the hot tub and outside dining areas. The hot tub can be used in all weathers and at any time of year and our children and grandchildren spent many happy hours in there both at the beginning and end of the day.\r\nThe location of the property provides an ideal base for visiting Padstow and the Camel Trail or for exploring what we consider to be the loveliest part of Cornwall for beaches and coastal walks. Had the weather been bad this could have caused issues having 4 young children in our party. Reported to agent 2 or 3 times without any joy.
